The COVID-19 infections in Nagaland spread further in Nagaland with Mon district registering first 6 new cases on June 13.
Overall there were 7 new cases on Saturday morning with another testing positive for the virus from Kohima.
With this the state total positive cases stood at 163 as of 10:08 am on June 13. All the cases reported so far are from quarantine centres.
“7 new cases of COVID-19 +ve have been reported out of 216 samples tested. 6 from Mon QC & 1 from Kohima QC,” State's Health and Family Welfare Minister, S Pangnyu Phom tweeted on Saturday morning.
However, with 49 ‘recoveries' so far, there are 114 active cases in Nagaland.
All the positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals.
