Winners of the 4th Hornbill Shooting competition.
Dimapur, December 5 (MExN): The 4th Hornbill Shooting Competition was conducted in the newly inaugurated Nagaland Shooting Sports Association Shooting Complex at the Multi Disciplinary Sports Complex, Dimapur from December 2 to 5.
On the first day registration and pre event trainings were conducted. On the second day, Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minister of Nagaland declared the competition open after inaugurating the Shooting Complex.
A total of 109 participants were registered for the three competition events of 10 M Air Pistol, 10 M Air Rifle and 50 M Prone (.22 Cal) for Men and Women category.
A new entry to the competition was from the Nagaland Police Rifle Club (NPRC), a club directly affiliated to the NSSA.
The winners of each events received a cash prize of amount 1st Rs30,000, 2ndRs 20,000 and 3rd Rs 10,000 with citations.
