1 for 50 Training at Dimapur from today

Dimapur, March 15 (MExN): Over 2.2 billion Children live in our planet and about 2/3 of them are yet to receive the Gospel. The best people to help nurture, reach and disciple them are those who live in their community, speak their language and have ongoing relationship with them as they grow.
In the first Global Children’s Forum in 2008, renowned Children Ministries combined to initiate the idea of equipping ONE Outreach and Discipleship Leader for every 50 children in Churches and communities around the world. This was to be called 1 for 50. At its core teaching, it is One Savior loved by One believer helping One child at a time to know and follow Christ.
Generation Ministries India Director, Menuo Keditsu has informed in a note that for the first time in the North East, this 1 for 50 Training is being held during March 16 to 19, hosted by Generation Ministries India (GMI) based at Dimapur. Resource Persons from Overseas will facilitate. Peter Van is an Engineer by profession but the Lord called him to minister to children along with his wife. For some 25 years he has ministered in many Southeast Asian Nations. Sheryl Grunwald is with the well established Kidzana Ministries of USA.  Janet Runnall is a Children Pastor.
At the Global Children Forum, Children leaders from over 80 nations have identified six key elements for the growth of children into being lifelong believers. 1 for 50 Training highlights these: Developing the leader’s heart for God and children, reaching the Unreached, making disciples, engaging families, nurturing the whole child, and building the Kingdom of God.
The wishful thinking of “What if every child in every community around the world had someone who could help them know and love Jesus for lifetime?” will draw closer to being a reality as this Training continues to spread especially in Asia and Africa.
