One person was killed on the spot while another seven injured when the Tata Sumo in which they were traveling met with an accident today between Losami and Phek at around 4:00pm. The vehicle was on its way to Phek from Dimapur. The deceased has been identified as one Vekrelu Hoshi. She was a student of Class 12 (Commerce stream) from Pranabananda Women’s College Dimapur. Sources informed that the other 7 inured persons are in critical condition. The cause of the accident was yet to be ascertained at the time of filling this report.
