Mon, November 8 (MExN): The ongoing 10th Common Review Mission is being conducted to review the progress of implementation of programmes under National Health Mission. “The visiting team members need to get acquainted with relevant background which would equip them with necessary knowledge and data regarding the health situation of the district,” informed a press release received here.
The four day review mission will conclude on November 10. The CRM team comprises of Dr Teja Ram, Deputy Commissioner-FP, Dr L A Singh, RD, Dr Mohan Bairwa, Asst Prof-IIHMR, Dr Madhusudan Yadav, consultant (NHM), MOHFW, Dr Amit Harshana, Immunisation, Priyanka Gover, FMG.
The team on November 7 and 8 visited Aboi CHC, Angphang PHC, Angjangyang Village, Longching SC, Totok Chingnyu SC, Wakching PHC, Tanhai SC, Wakching Chingla SC, Sheanghah Chingnyu SC, Phomching PHC, Mission Center SC, Chen PHC and Chenmoho. On November 9, the team will visit District Hospital and Longwa SC. The CRM team will evaluate the health units based on the Service Delivery: Reaching the Unreached, RMNCH+A, Disease Control Programmes, HRH and Training, Community Processes and Convergence, Quality assurance, Information and Knowledge, Healthcare Financing, Governance and management.
The team is accompanied by officials from the directorate of health and family welfare and the district health department, which included Dr MA Wati, Addl Director, Dr Visasei, SIO, Dr Obangjungla, Dy Director RCH, Dr Joel, Dy Director NHM, Dr UK Konyak, CMO, Dr Akaba Jamir, Dy CMO, Dr Limatula, DPO NVBDCP, Moie Bonnie, District Programme Officer, H. Rengma, District Accounts Manager and Eunice Thalih, District Community Mobiliser. Based on the findings during the visit of the Health Units of the district, the CRM informed that the debriefing will be done with Deputy Commissioner Mon and DPOs of other vertical programmes on the November 9 and on their return on November 10 they will visit Tizit PHC and SC.
