Kohima, October 31 (MExN): The 11th annual sports meet 2023 of Urra Area Villages Youth Organization concluded today at Dieziephe village, Chumoukedima.
The Closing Ceremony was graced by Veni Vese, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Chumoukedima) as Guest of Honour.
Speaking at the program, he said that different tribe's living together is an example of unity with diversity which also goes with the theme of the tournament ‘Breaking the barriers through sports.’
He also lamented about the present obstacles of drugs addiction currently faced by the youths which needs to be checked and prevented.
The program was chaired by Ritsali Sangtam. Vote thanks was proposed by Vekuyi Sazo and prize distribution was led by Visu Sakhrie.
