
Kohima, May 9 (MExN): 12 candidates from Nagaland have cleared the tests of Airmen Recruitment Rally held here recently and they will feature in All India Select List for merit and will subsequently receive call letters for enrolment to the Indian Air Force. This was stated by Lt Col E. Musavi, PRO (Defence Wing), Kohima.
The Airmen Recruitment Rally was successfully conducted on May 3 and 5 last in Kohima. The Commanding Officer GNV Vijay Anand thanked Government of Nagaland and its officials for giving excellent support in term of Administrative help. The rally has been successful in terms of candidates passing written test on May 3, 2013 for Non technical trades. For Non-Technical trades, out of 222 candidates, 91 candidates passed and for Technical trades, out of 68 candidates 20 candidates passed. The Commanding Officer mentioned that in near future “Airmen Recruitment Rally” in the state of Nagaland will be planned to give good opportunity for interested candidates of Nagaland. Three more Airmen Recruitment Rallies are planned for this year - one in September in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, one in October in Golaghat, Assam and last rally in Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh. Exact dates have not been finalised.
