Nagaland Home Commissioner, Neihu C Thur today said the state has 1.40 lakh government employees and consume about 70% of the non-revenue resource of the state. Speaking at the 49th parting social of Kohima College here today, he said that the large number of government employees is a result of the lack of private industries in the state. Thur urged that time has come for people to think: “My land, my state, my people” and make a difference. Further, he encouraged the students to become pathfinders and contribute to the economy of the state.
