DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 9 (MExN): The Dimapur district administration has imposed prohibitory orders under 144 CrPc prohibiting assembly of 5 or more persons at Model Village from 3:00pm of September 9 for 48 hours. In an order, the District Magistrate and officiating Commissioner of Police stated that the situation in and around Model Village “is critical with tension arising out of land dispute between Model Village and R Sopu Angami and party.” It added there is “apprehension of danger to human lives, property and disturbance to public tranquillity if 5 or more persons congregate or assemble.”
