JALUKIE, JUNE 17 (MExN): A 15-day Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan (DAJA)—a nationwide awareness and saturation campaign—was launched for Jalukie Block at DB’s Court, ADC Office, Jalukie, on June 16.
Addressing the launch event, ADC Jalukie Albert Ezung highlighted the objective of the campaign—to ensure 100 per cent saturation of Central Government schemes among all eligible beneficiaries in the villages. He called upon village-level functionaries and departmental officers to work in close coordination to maximise the outreach and ensure that no eligible person is left out.
Ezung also directed officials to implement structured programmes with active participation from local bodies and to intensify grassroots awareness initiatives during the campaign period.
Officials from departments such as Agriculture, Rural Development, Medical, State Bank of India (Jalukie Branch), Social Welfare, and Food & Civil Supplies presented brief overviews of various welfare schemes and support services under implementation. Their presentations aimed to increase awareness and accessibility among the rural population.
The launch event was attended by Village Council Chairpersons and Gaon Buras (GBs) from Jalukie ‘B’, Samziuram, Nkwareu, and Jalukieram villages. As part of the campaign, a total of 12 villages under Jalukie Block will be covered over the next two weeks.
