Peren, November 3 (MExN): The 16th Edition of the Jalukie Valley Open Football Tournament, organized by the Jalukie Valley Youth Organisation (JVYO), is scheduled to commence on December 8 at the Samziuram Local Ground.
The JVYO has encouraged all young and skilled local players to take part and gain exposure to larger competitive arenas in line with the organisation’s vision of promoting local talent and providing opportunities.
In this edition, the JVYO has enhanced the prize pool in recognition of the passion and enthusiasm shown by the participating teams in past tournaments. The proposed prizes includes Rs 2,00,000 for the champion, Rs 1,00,000 for the Runner-up, Individual Awards of Rs 5,000 each for Golden Boot, Golden Glove, and Player of the Tournament. Additionally, trophies and certificates will also be presented.
The entry fee for each team is Rs 5000, and entry forms can be obtained from Mpom Pharmacy, Jalukie Town, upon payment of Rs 100. Forms will be available starting November 7. All participating teams have been requested to collect the forms and confirm participation with the JVYO officials and executives.
