Kohima, July 25 (MExN): Sixteen students from the Ao community were conferred with the 16th N.I. Jamir Academic Excellence Award for securing Top 20 in HSLC examination conducted by Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) 2022 at Merhulietsa, Kohima on July 23.

A press note stated here that speaking on the occasion, Minister for Higher Education, Tribal Affairs, Temjen Imna Along said, ‘our state is on the top list in literacy rate in the country but sadly top listed among the unemployment state.’ He exhorted the students to pursue their career with passion to fit in this world of Artificial Intelligent. 

The welcome speech was delivered by Jongpongtoshi, President, Kohima Ongpangkong Telongjem. On behalf of the trust board, Imtiakum give a short speech and Dr Ralimongla delivered a thanks note on behalf of N.I. Jamir family members.
