173 Bn CRPF organised civic action programme at its Unit Headquarters located at Airfield Dimapur on March 15.
Dimapur, March 15 (MExN): 173 Bn CRPF organised civic action programme (CAP) at its Unit Headquarters located at Airfield Dimapur with Kevidhuto Sophie Angami, Commissioner of Police, Dimapur as the chief guest on March 15.
During the programme, a total of 36 water storage tanks and 58 solar lamps were distributed to people residing near B/173 Bn CRPF Camp, CIHSR Hospital, and F/173 Bn CRPF Camp at Powergrid Colony, Dimapur stated a DIPR report.
Speaking on the occasion, Kevithuto Sophie Angami, CP Dimapur said that the village or the colonies should also help the units when needed.
Commandant of 173 Bn CRPF, Ashok Kumar Yadav said that CAP is conducted by CRPF every year in which needy people are provided with various essential items which are beneficial for them in their daily life.
A bamboo dance was presented by Phaipijang village and welcome address was delivered by Heiyilung Nsarangbe Dy Comdt 173Bn CRPF.
