Phek, October 11 (MExN): The meeting of 17th Chizami Assembly Constituency Congress Committee (ACCC) was held at Chizami Town Hall on October 9. It was attended by the committee members, village unit office bearers and party leaders.
A press release issued by NPCC Media Cell stated that Khriedi Theunuo vice president, NPCC spoke on the party policy and programme which gives power to the people. He stated how the country's economy is mismanaged under the NDA government headed by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi with the fuel prices rising every day.
S Shilumar and Vetetso Lasuh, vice president, NPCC, and former party candidate from the constituency also spoke and urged upon the party workers to maintain unity and discipline and remain loyal to the party as this party will very soon come to power. A short speech was delivered by Kewepelo Tsuha, Congress candidate for last general election 2018, who appealed the party workers to work as a family. Khrote Therie, general secretary 17th Chizami ACCC chaired the meeting.
