18 new records on day 2 of KVSA meet

Athletes competing on day 2 of the KVSA meet at IG Stadium, Kohima on January 8.

Eighteen new records have been created on the second day of 64th KVSA (Kohima Village Sports Association) Meet 2020 here today at Indira Gandhi Stadium.

As of January 8, T Khel topped the medal tally with a total of 34 ( 15 Gold, 9 Silver and 10 Bronze), D. Khel- 14 medals ( Gold 5, Silver 6 and Bronze 3), P. Khel- 13 medals ( Gold 4, Silver 5 and Bronze 4), L. Khel- 9 medals ( Gold 0, Silver 4 and Bronze 5).

Meanwhile, the first football match between L. Khel vs P. Khel will take place on January 9 at Indira Gandhi Stadium from 8:00 AM onwards. D. Khel will play with T. Khel at 9:50 AM.

Basketball and Volleyball will take place from 12:00 noon onwards at Khuochiezie, Kohima Local Ground.

Indoor Games will start from 4:00 PM at Indoor Stadium, Officers’ Hill Kohima.
