180 more recovered cases, Nagaland’s tally at 9151

Dimapur, November 3 (MExN): Nagaland recorded 55 new COVID-19 cases and 180 recovered cases on Tuesday.  

According to data provided by the state Health and Family Welfare Department, the new cases were reported from Kohima (13), Dimapur (39), Mon (2) and Peren (1). 

Among the recovered cases, 162 were from Dimapur, 6 each from Kohima and Mon, while Kiphire and Peren recorded 3 recoveries each. 

With this, the state’s total tally of infections stand at 9,151 with 7,786 recovered cases, 1,238 active cases and 36 deaths. 

As per the severity of symptoms,  1,171 active cases are asymptomatic, 41 active cases are mild, 13 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 6 active cases are severe on oxygen, 5 active cases are critical with oxygen and 2 active cases are on ventilator. 

As per the health department, the distribution of cases across various categories of people is: 3,975 cases among Armed Forces/ Police, 1,658 cases among Returnees, 3,072 cases among Traced Contacts and 446 cases among Frontline Workers.
