Foster's FC, Putu FC Zhavame, Butchers’ Union FC and Kings FC Chiiziema today overpowered their respective opponents to move to the second round of the ongoing 18th edition of the NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2017 here.
In the first match of the day, Foster's FC defeated Speed Talented Juniors 3-0.
Kevibou Kense netted two goals for Foster's FC while Ase Seyie added another goal for the team.
Yellow cards were shown to Milan of Speed Talented Juniors and Khriezohu Seyie of Foster's FC.
Putu FC Zhavame defeated Sports Link FC 3-2 in the second match.
Vipatu Krocha contributed two goals while the third goal for Putu FC Zhavame came through Tamthing A.S.
Hüveto D. Vadeo netted two goals for Sports Link FC.
Yellow cards were awarded to Sürhonieyi Chürhah Sports Link F, Epoi Hieme and Liavikho Dukru of Putu FC Zhavame.
In the third match of the day, Butchers’ Union FC butchered 14th NAP (IR) Kiphire 6- 1.
Pete grabbed a hat-trick for Butchers’ Union FC while Neikethozo, Khriekethozo and Mezhiisetuo scored a goal each for the Butchers team.
The4 solitary goal for 14th NAP (IR) Kiphire came through the boots of Rokozhazo.
Yellow card were shown to Kevisazo of Butchers’ Union and Kosalie of 14th NAP (IR).
In the last match, Kings FC Chüziema edged Patkai Christian College Dimapur 2-1.
Mezhüsielie Pienyü and Menguzelie Rutsa scored a goal each for Kings FC while the solitary goal for Patkai Christian College came from Kevitsokho.
