High School Taxi Drivers XI, Chedema Village Youth Organization, Naga Bazar FC and Govt. Polytechnic Kohima today entered the second round winning their respective matches at the ongoing 18th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2017.
In the first match of the day, High School Taxi Drivers XI defeated Agape FC 2-1. The winning goals for Taxi Drivers XI came through Kevilevor and Khribu. Kevei Vekhe scored a lone goal for Agape FC.
Chedema Village Youth Organization registered a stunning 9-1 win over 12 Tribe United FC.
Rokosazo Chakriino scored 5 for Chedema VYO, while Kevineizo Tsira, Rokoneito Thevo, Kobou Kiwe and Keneisezo Keyho scored one each. Bamo L. Khiamniungan was the lone scorer for 12 Tribe United FC.
Naga Bazar FC defeated Kohima Science College 1-0 in the third match. The winning goal for Naga Bazar FC came through T. Meren Jamir.
Government Polytechnic Kohima downed Kohima Bible College 1-0 with Shingwang scoring the winning goal for Government Polytechnic in the 59th minute.
On Friday, Renegades FC defeated Seiyhazou Hills Boys FC 2-0. Aneilie and Keneingunyii were the scorers.
Speartex FC Kohima downed Old Ministers’ Hill 2-1 in the other game of the day with Mengubei-o and Shamba Samson Konyak scoring for Speartex FC. Tianuksong Longkumer scored for Old Ministers’ Hill.
Billy Graham FC blanked Athletico Boys 7-0 with Rahul Kamei scoring 4, while Medoneituo, Kamei Pantiga and Alban Kamei backing up with a goal each.
In the last match on Friday, Kirha Youth Society Viswema overpowered FC Chetheba 3-1 with Kelehosa Kikhi, Kenolesa Kikhi and Zapokhoto Rhetso scoring one each for Kirha YS. Nungoyi Nyekha was the lone scorer for FC Chetheba.
