Tiema-Khe, Kidima and Tribal Brothers FC today qualified for the Round of 16 after registering wins in their respective matches at the ongoing 19th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2018 here under the aegis of Angami Students’ Union.
Playing against Kohima Science College Jotsoma in the first match of the day, Tiema-Khe Kidima emerged victorious by two goals to one.
The first goal for Tiema-Khe Kidima was scored by Kevisekho Thokhwe in the 40th minute. Later, in the 58th minute, Kohima Science College Jotsoma found the equalizer through Nokpoh Konyak.
The leading goal for Tiema-Khe Kidima was scored by Zadutol Phinyo in the 76th minute.
Tribal Brothers FC meanwhile beat High School Taxi Drivers XI 9-0.
Laiwang scored a hat trick for Tribal Brothers. Shurhosül scored two goals while Aloumei, Sohiampou and Akhobou contributed a goal each.
Tribal Brothers FC will now clash with Tiema-Khe in the next round on October 10 at 2:00pm.
