DIMAPUR, JUNE 5 (MExN): The 1st Inter-College Basketball Championship (Men & Women) is scheduled to be held from June 14 to 16 at JV Rise Foundation Basketball Court, Signal Angami, Dimapur. A press release from the organizers informed that June 17 is being kept as a reserve day.
The tournament is being organised by the Department of Youth Resources and Sports, Government of Nagaland, in collaboration with the Dimapur District Basketball Association (DDBA).
The tournament is open to all colleges under Nagaland University and Nagaland-based autonomous universities.
The last date for registration for the tournament is 12th June, 2023 (3:00pm sharp). The tournament fixture will be released on 13th June. Most of the matches will be held under floodlights.
The prizes for both men and women categories are: Winner (Rs. 40,000), Runner-up (Rs. 25,000), Joint 3rd Place (Rs. 10,000 each), and MVP (Rs. 3,000 each).
