A two-day long 1st KAMC Torque Challenge 2022 under the aegis of Kohima Adventure Motorsports Club (KAMC) concluded today at Chiephobozou Local Ground under Kohima district.
Over 100 riders from Nagaland, Sikkim, Mizoram, Assam and Meghalaya joined the event.
In SUV category, Kamlesh Das bagged 1st position with a record 1:39:31 milliseconds, Tsuktimongba Jamir from Team Spearhead Mokokchung stood second place with 1:39:75 milliseconds, Ruokuobeituo Kense from NAC bagged third position with 1:43:41 milliseconds.
In the Open Class category, Kima Jamir from Team Spearhead Mokokchung bagged first position with 1:30:16 milliseconds, S.P. from Mizoram stood 2nd position with 1:30:42 milliseconds and Tomito Shohe from team Street Kings Dimapur stood third with 1:30:66 milliseconds.
In Rookies Class Category, Hokavi Kiba with 1:27:78 milliseconds, Hukiye Yeptho of Street Kings Dimapur with 1:30:40 milliseconds and Kima Jamir from team Spearhead Mokokchung with 1:30:78 milliseconds bagged first, second and third position respectively.
Motocross categories: 1st- B.J.YRWA from Mizoram on 2 Stroke category, 2nd - Jayden W Nongk from Meghalaya and 3rd -Peter VL Rinsanga from Mizoram.
Open Category in the motocross: 1st Paomintang R Vaiphei from Meghalaya, 2nd - Jayden W Nongk from Meghalaya, 3rd- B J YRWA from Mizoram.
Novice category: 1st- Ramding Liana from Mizoram, 2nd- William LMS from Mizoram, 3rd- Milan Pradhan from Sikkim.
The closing ceremony was graced by Mhaphruo Liezietsu, CEO VUTO Hyundai Kohima and the youth president of Chiephobozou while vote of thanks was proposed by Ketuokhriezo Whuorie.
