Kohima, July 21 (MExN): The Kohima District Football Association (KDFA) will be organizing 1st Kohima District Futsal Championship from September 2-3, 2022 at L. Viluo FIFA Pro Astro turf at Meriema. The Championship will be conducted in a 5 a-side format. Only registered players with KDFA will be permitted to play in the championship, according to a release issued by KDFA press secretary Medolenuo Ambrocia Loucü.
The winning team of the championship will further represent the district during the second edition of the Nagaland Football Association (NFA) Futsal Tournament. The top two teams will be awarded with cash rewards, trophies and citations. There will also be rewards for ‘man of the match’ in every match of the championship. Entry fee have been set at Rs 2500 per team.
