The Kubza Students' Union organized the 1st Mojabi Futsal Tournament at Mojabi Futsal Turf, Salangtem ward, Mokokchung. The two-day event which was held on February 10 and 11 witnessed the participation of 32 teams.
On the first day of the event, N Alemla, President, Kubzatsur Telongjem Mokokchung gave a brief exhortation before the kick off while Limatongzuü Jamir, President, Ongpangkong Students’ Conference delivered a brief exhortation at the culminating programme.
Youngsters FC lifted the trophy as the champion of the tournament while the Runner-up was Chargers FC. The Golden glove award was bagged by Imkongtemsu of Chargers FC while the highest scorers were the Youngsters FC. A special award was also given to the Youngest Team of the tournament, NRLFC (11-16 years).
The champions and runner-up were awarded with a cash prize of Rs 30,000 and Rs 15,000 with certificates, respectively. The individual prize winners were awarded with a cash prize of Rs 2000 and certificates.
