1st NCSA badminton tournament underway

DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 2 (MExN): The 1st Badminton Tournament of the Nagaland Civil Service Association (NCSA) got underway today at Indoor Stadium, Kohima.  

Commissioner and Secretary, Soil and Water Conservation, T NungsangAo graced the occasion as the chief guest. The two days event is being organized by the Nagaland Civil Service Association.  

Speaking at the inaugural function T NungsangAo encouraged the players to strengthen their friendship, and have unity among themselves in order to make the association stronger. Keep up the good spirit of serving the people he said, encouraging the young participating officers to maintain good public relationship, and own a sense of belongingness to their place of posting.  

Appreciating the association for organizing the tournament he said, the event will improve their discipline and spirit in the game besides getting to know each other to grow stronger as a fraternity. He also urged the NCS officers to bring about solution to the various challenges facing society.  

President, NCSA, Kevekha Kevin Zehol delivered the welcome address. Andrew C Imti administered the oath of the tournament. Altogether 283 NCS officers from across the state participated in the tournament.
