Kohima, May 31(MExN): The daylong 1st Open Inter-Village Futsal Tournament (7 Aside) concluded at L Viluo Fifa Pro Turf, Meriema on May 31.
22 teams from various villages participated in the two day tournament. During the opening ceremony, Viluo Angami Owner of L Viluo Fifa Pro Turf conveyed that the motive behind organizing the tournament is to bring together players from different villages and uplift the spirit of sportsmanship.
Mez and Co Kohima Village emerged as champion followed by Chedema Village FC as Runners-up position team. Ruovisielie Shüya of Bravado FC Meriema and Young Boys FC, Zhadima were awarded as best goal keeper and best discipline team respectively.
