Michazou Mima wins title
Kohima, November 7 (MExN): Michazou Mima emerged as champions of the 1st edition of Open Volleyball Tournament 2021 organized by Seiyhama Baptist Church on November 6 at Seiyhama village under Kohima district.
Winning the coveted title, Michazou pocketed a cash prize of Rs 20,000. Nexus, Kohima stood runner-up and was awarded with Rs 15,000.
Semi finalists Koinonia Prayer Centre Tsiese Basa and Chienino Brothers, Kiruphema received Rs 5000 each.
Menuokho Ngukha of Michazou and Menuoselie Hojha of Chienino Brothers were named the best spiker and best setter respectively.
Seiyhama Village Council chairman Lhoulalie Zumu graced the valedictory function and gave away prize to the winners.
Earlier, Roko Angami, president Nagaland Football Coaches Association (NFCA) and also president of Northern Angami Youth Organization (NAYO) graced the inaugural function as the special guest.
22 teams from Kohima district including one team from Phek district joined the tournament.
