Tuensang, March 1 (DIPR): The first round of polling training for presiding officers and polling officers of Tuensang district was held at CKS hall Tuensang on February 28, 2014. Addressing the polling officers, Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, T. Mhabemo Yanthan urged upon them to perform their assigned duties with dedication, commitment and sincerity in order to conduct free, fair and peaceful election in the district.
He also said that the district has witnessed a massive conduct of peaceful election in the last general election and expressed hope that the polling officers would be performing even better in the coming election for the betterment and benefit of the common people. He also pleaded the polling officers to carry out the 'duties and responsibilities' in a proper way in order to bring progress in every aspect. The polling training was well attended by all the presiding officers and polling officers of the district besides election officials.
