Dimapur, December 11 (MExN): Two persons riding a scooter succumbed to injuries on Monday when they were hit by a vehicle in Chümoukedima, opposite to ICICI Bank, at 12:55 pm on December 10. T
alking to media persons at the spot, OC Traffic Zone II said that the vehicle, a Ford Figo going towards Chümoukedima took the wrong lane and hit an oncoming scooter throwing the two pillion riders almost 40 feet from the collision spot before the vehicle hit a tree on the road side.
The two pillion riders succumbed to injuries at Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research, Dimapur.
There were three occupants in the vehicles who were also admitted to the hospital.
However, two of them were discharged after administering first aid but the driver was still admitted with injuries.
