Two minors – a girl and boy – have been reported missing in Kiphire. The minors, siblings Yangtsapi (13 years) and Yangthrila (7 years) of Longthonger village went missing from the village on August 22.
According to a report, the siblings did not return after they went to the forest for fetching firewood on August 22. Only a basket said to have belonged to the siblings were found by villagers, who organised a search. A joint search was on in coordination with the police, the report said.
