Containment zones demarcated
Peren, July 2 (MExN): Two persons who were sent to home quarantine were reported to have tested positive on July 2 in Peren.
Following the detection, DC Peren Sentiwapang Aier in an order informed that the positive cases were detected among those sent for home quarantine at Dobashi colony, Jalukie Town and adjoining areas and ward number 5, Tening Town.
The DC’s order stated that “the areas are declared immediately as containment zones.”
The concerned area Administrative officer/Sub Divisional Task Force for COVID-19 will immediately ensure the containment of the affected area and effectively demarcate and barricade the containment zone in order to prevent community spread of COVID-19, the order added. Contact tracing and other medical protocols will commence immediately. “This order shall come into force immediately,” he added.
