Wins for Tyrants FC Khuzama and KVSU Kohima

Tyrants FC Khuzama and KVSU Kohima village today won their respective matches to enter the second round of the ongoing 20th NSF Martyr's Memorial Trophy 2019 here at Kohima Local Ground.

In the first match, Tyrants FC defeated Valley View Team 4-2.

Vilhouvoto Sale opened the account for Tyrants FC in the 4th minute. Ketozo Thaprü increased the score tally in the 17th minute and later netted his second goal in the 66th minute. Menguse Sale also fetched another goal for the team in the 32nd minute. Luke Seb and Ashevie netted a goal each for Valley View Team in the 9th and 77th minute respectively.

With today’s win, Tyrants FC will play with High School Taxi Drivers XI on October 3.

Meanwhile, KVSU Kohima village defeated Nagaland University Kohima campus 11-1 in the second match of the day.

KVSU gained four goals from Neikethozo Yhome. Vilhoubeituo Yhome also fetched a hat-trick for the team. Dziesedilhou Yhome, Keviphrietuo Kire, Visosietuo Sachu and Ruokuosietuo Sachu also netted a goal each.

Menovisie netted a lone goal for NU Kohima campus.

With this, KVSU will take on Kigwema Students' Union on October 3.
