DIMAPUR, JANUARY 26 (MExN): On the occasion of 75th Republic Day 2024 celebration, various awards were given out by the Nagaland Governor, La Ganesan at the Parade Ground Secretariat Plaza, Kohima, a DIPR report informed.
DGP Rupin Sharma and DCC Home Guards & Civil Defence Medozhalie Pienyu were awarded the President’s Medal for Distinguished Service in Police and Home Guards & Civil Defence respectively.
The Police Medal for Meritorious Service was awarded to Peter Shuya Angami, SDPO; Toshimongba Imchen, ABSI and Archer Phyobemo, ABSI.
The Governor's award went to Kathyinla, EAC Noklak; Meripeni, Additional State Protocol Officer Home Department (GAB-II) and Vikashe Chuse, Dy SP Nagaland (Lokayukta).
Award of Governor's Gold Medal (announced) went to Dr Sentitula, Divisional Forest office Mokokchung.
The Governor's Commendation Certificate were given to I Changsang, Under Secretary IDAN; C. Chilliam Khiam, ASI Women PS, Tuensang; Limitsung Sangtam, District coordinator (PMMVY) Kiphire; Puleno Neikha, Sports Coach (Sepaktakraw) Youth Resources & Sports Department; Bokavi Achumi, UDA ADC Office Pughobto and Ruyoseyi, Office Peon, Directorate of Agriculture.
The President's Police Medal (PPM) for distinguished service was awarded to Etsimongo Nugullie IPS (Rtd.) DIG (Range) Mokokchung and Imcharenla, IPS (Rtd) DIG NAP Kohima.
Kilangyanger Walling, NPS, DCP, Niuland; Israel G Xuvi, Dy Commandant I/C STF and Abel Jonsuo Humtsoe, Inspector (INT) were awarded the Police Medal for Meritorious Service.
Award of Union Home Minister for Excellence in Investigation was awarded to Tulakha K Sumi, Additonal SP/Vice Principal, NPTS-CMD.
