Dimapur, August 25 (MExN): COVID-19 recovery cases in Nagaland continue to rise significantly with the state reporting 214 recoveries on Tuesday. The tally of recoveries was 2611 as on August 25 while the total number of active cases was 1,123, according to the daily briefing on COVID-19 by the Principal Secretary Home. 38 new COVID-19 cases were registered on Tuesday, out of which, 14 were Traced Contacts, 10 Armed Forces, 10 Frontline Workers and 4 Returnees. Meanwhile, it was also informed that 2 out of the 10 Frontline Workers who tested positive on August 25 were Army frontline workers. Out of the total 3752 cases in the State, the distribution across various categories of people are- 1,617 cases from Armed Forces, 1,217 cases from Returnees, 258 cases of Frontline Workers and 660 cases of Traced Contacts.
