The prestigious 23rd Classic Cup 2017 will start from November 2 at the Kohima Local Ground under the aegis of Classic Club Kohima. 35 teams are in the fray, which will go on till November 20.
The tournament will be formally inaugurated by Linda Solo, Director Youth Resources & Sports at 2:00 PM on November 2. Kohima College will face Capital College of Higher Education in the opening match.
The champion of this tournament will carry a cash prize of Rs. 1.50 lakh while the runner-up will receive Rs. 80,000.
