Mima FC and Asufü Football Academy today registered win in their respective match at the ongoing 23rd NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2023 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.

Mima FC-2, Youngster FC-1
Mima FC downed Youngster FC 2-1 in the 1st match. Neitho-u Shunyü opened the account for Mima FC in the 14th minutes. After the lemon break, Akhrietuo scored the equalizer for Youngster FC. The winning goal for Mima FC came through Khriesamhalie Ngukha in the 75th minutes. The player of the match was awarded to Khriesamhalie Ngukha of Mima FC.

Asufü FA- 11, Samaritan FC-0
Asufü Football Academy blanked Samaritan FC 11-0 in the second match. P. Soromi Thiugsang fetched doubled hatttick for the team. Henjakup Haokip, Wungshungan Jagoi, Elozuo Kayina, Lohru Kaisu Phimu and Lamgumlal Kipgen also netted a goal each for the team. P. Soromi Thiugsang of Asufü FA was adjudged as Man of the Match. With today’s win, Asufü FA will take on Sechü FC on September 23.
