A Yhome FC, End of an Era enter quarter finals

A Yhome FC and End of an Era today booked quarter finals berth after registering win in their respective matches on the 11th day of the ongoing 23rd NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2023 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.

A Yhome FC- 4, Patkai CC-1
A Yhome FC defeated Patkai Christian College 4-1 in the pre- quarter final match.
Yhoto fetched a hattrick for A Yhome FC in the 8th, 49th and 57th minute.
Jhonny added another goal for the team in the 29th minute.
A lone goal of Patkai CC came through Rukuwe in the 72nd minute.
With today’s win, A Yhome FC booked quarter final berth and will face New Market FC.
Mhasikhotuo was awarded the man of the match. The award was presented by Vitsikolie Kehie, former ASU leader and 23rd NSFMMT organizing committee member.

End of an Era- 5, Khuzama YO-1
End of an Era registered win over Khuzama Youth Organisation 5-1 in the second match,
Kivi Zhimomi netted four goals for End of an Era in the 10th, 32nd, 56th and 67th minute.
Nyithong increased the score tally of the team in the 13th minute.
A solitary goal for Khuzama YO came through Vilhuvoto Sale in the early 2nd minute.
End of an Era also entered quarter finals with today’s win.
Kivi Zhimomi of End of an Era was awarded the man of the match. Mteisuding, Vice President Naga Students’ Federation handed over the award.
