A. Yhome FC and United FC Piphema today registered win in their respective match at the ongoing 23rd NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2023 under the aegis of Angami Students Union at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.

A. Yhome FC-11, NK Brothers FC-0
A. Yhome FC advanced to next round after defeating NK Brothers FC 11-0 in the first match of the day.

Yhoto netted double hatrick for A. Yhome FC in the 7th , 12th, 15th , 56th  , 60th  and 79th minute.

Kethoshelie contributed two goals in the 20th and 40th minute.

The team also gained a goal each from Vilhoubeituo, Avilie and Metshetsho in the 9th, 39th and 73rd minute respectively.
Kohima Village Youth Oganization (KVYO) general secretary Viketoulie Solo handed over the Man of the Match award to Yhoto.  

United FC Piphema-5, Reipicüzie FC Mezoma-1
United FC Piphema defeated Reipicüzie FC Mezoma 5-1 in the second match and booked a berth for next round.
Ayen connected four goals in favour of United FC in the 16th, 66th, 74th and 76th minute.

Bris Taro also fetched a goal for the team in the 46th minute.

Reipicüzie FC inked  a goal tally after Johnson of United FC resulted own goal.

Ayen was adjudged as the Man of the Match and the award was handed over by ASU president Khriesamhalie David Mere.
