Liangmai FC today secured semi finals berth after defeating End of an Era 6-2 in the ongoing 23rd NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2023 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
In the 2nd semi final match played today here today , Liangmai FC defeated End of an Era 6-2.
Nyithong of End of an Era scored the first goal for the team in the 2nd minute.
Kawijibo of Liangmai FC equalized the score in the 8th minute. Lamsanggin added another goal for Liangmai FC in the 39th minute.
Chaba of End of an Era increased the score tally of the team in the 77th minute.
Kawijibo scored two more goals for Liangmai FC while Ningtingbo and Kenumbi also netted a goal each for the team.
The man of the match was awarded to Wanamthiu Ringdi and the award was handed over by Ketholekho Kennao, vice president, Kohima Chamber of Commerce & Industries.
