Red Scars FC today joined the row of quarter finals after overpowering Viswemi FC 2-0 in the last pre-quarter final match of the ongoing 23rd NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2023 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima under the aegis of Angami Students’ Union (ASU).

Sentilong opened the account for Red Scars FC in the 17th minute.

Yhunshalo Kemp connected the second goal for the team in the 65th minute.

The man of the match was awarded to Horlan of Red Scars FC and the award was handed over by Metebo-o Sote, Secretary Games & Sport ASU and Secretary Organizing Committee 23rd NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2023.

Meanwhile, quarter final matches will start from October 5.

ASU announces match patron
The Angami Students Union today announced the match patrons from October 5 onward.

Khrielievi Chiisi, former general secretary ASU and former president, AYO for October 5; Kezhazer Angami, president, KCCI, former president, ASU & AYO for October 6; Neizokhotuo Belho, former General Secretary, NSF & Former Tribunal General, ASU for October 7; Medo Yhokha, former president ASU & former legislator NLA for October 9; Kezhaleo Rülho, 1st Class Contractor and L Dikho, MLA, Government of Manipur for October 11 and 12 respectively.
