24 more cases reported in Nagaland, recovery tally at 228

Dimapur, July 4 (MExN): Nagaland reported 24 new COVID-19 positive cases on July 4, taking the state’s tally of positive cases to 563.


Peren district continued to have the highest number of active cases in the state as 21 out of the new cases reported on Saturday belonged to the district. The other two cases were from Kohima while Mon reported one positive case, according to official updates.


With this, the total number of active cases in the state stands at 335. No recovery cases were recorded in the state on Saturday, leaving the state’s total recovery at 228. 


Peren has now 157 active cases, followed by Kohima with 75 cases and Mon with 42 active cases.


Dimapur district has 29 cases and Tuensang has 20 active cases while Phek has reported 8 active cases as of 3:00 pm, on July 4. Zunheboto and Mokokchung reported 3 and one active case respectively.
