Fore Runners Thizama and Head Hunters Jakhama today entered the quarter finals after winning their respective matches at the ongoing 24th Classic Cup here under the aegis of Classic Club.
Fore Runners Thizama defeated Phoenix FC 3-1. Lima scored two goals for Fore Runners Thizama in the 5th and 33th minute while Seyiekhrietuo added another goal for the team in the 24th minute.
A lone goal for Phoenix FC came through the boot of Thejaseto in the 61st minute.
In the second match, Head Hunters Jakhama thrashed Zhadima Jr FC 12-0. Chingsha Phom netted four goals for Head Hunters while Khuangjang and Rhitsho Mero fetched a hattrick each for their team.
Hranglen and Haotinmang also contributed a goal each.
With today’s win, Head Hunters will clash with Fore Runners in the quarter finals on November 13.
