Dimapur, November 3 (MExN): The Lotha Colony Football Club (LCFC) and Okotso SC today entered the semi-finals of the ongoing 24th Late Nyamo Lotha & Late Daniel Lotha (ND) Memorial Football Running being played at the State Stadium, Dimapur. In the first quarter-finals match on November 3, the defending champions LCFC defeated Pangti FC 3-1 inching another step closer towards repeating their last feat. Longshi, Wobenshan and Hatsabemo scored respectively for LCFC while the lone goal from Pangti FC goal came courtesy of Nchumbemo. Meanwhile, Okotso SC trumped 2-1 over Ekhyo Yan FC in the second match of the day. Mhabemo and Chumbenthung scored for Okotso. Chonpen scored the sole goal for Ekhyo Yan FC. The match patron of the day was Shiyeto Wotsa, Convenor Dimapur Football League (DFL), who lauded the contributions of Late Nyamo Lotha and Late Daniel Lotha in the upliftment of Dimapur town and further encouraged the players to play with discipline and hard work. The trophy which kicked off on October 31 will culminate on November 7.
