The Tzurangkong Kaketshir Mungdang (TKM) 24th Triennial General Conference is underway at Watiyim village, Mokokchung under the theme ‘Teperang Tarutsu Nubusen’ (Radiant Posterity) with more than 300 delegates from 8 units of the TKM attending the conference. 

TKM President Imlisunep stated that the conference will focus on sports, seminars, and workshops, with the goal of instilling knowledge in students about various career options such as sports, competitive examinations, entrepreneurship, and the agricultural and allied sectors, all of which have enormous potential in the Tzurang Valley.

Supongmeren Hoki, Chairman, NEPED, Government of Nagaland was the special guest for the sports event on day two of the conference. In his address, Hoki stated that such students' conference is not only to learn about academics but it is an opportunity to garner and inculcate the spirit of unity, social cohesion and setting goals of peace and brotherhood. He advised the students to discipline their mind, body and soul towards perfection, besides, giving their best at what they do best.

The TKM Triennial conference started on January 10 and will conclude on January 12.
