Khuzama, December 2 (MExN): The Franciscan Sisters of Saint Mary of the Angels (FSMA) mission celebrated its silver jubilee with thanksgiving in the convent’s chapel with Reverend Father Raymond D’Souza SJ, Director of Eden Garden and Children’s Home, Khuzama, on December 1.
Fr D’Souza asked the faithful people to give thanks and rejoice to God for the pioneers’ contributions. A special prayer was offered for the Sisters and a prayer of remembrance was also offered for the religious Sisters who had worked at Khuzama since the FSMA was established in 1995.
Fr Rajesh Lobo, in-charge of Eden Garden, FSMA community from Dimapur, Kidima and church leaders from different villages took part in the sacred celebration. Eucharist was offered followed by fellowship meal after the ceremony, the updates stated.
