255 candidates appear for forest guard written exam in Zunheboto

The Forest Guard written examination was held at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Zunheboto, with 255 candidates appearing for the recruitment test in Zunheboto District

L Chinglem Konyak, EAC (Hq) Zunheboto and District Level Screening Committee (DLSC) stressed that the exam are been held smoothly and were looked after by the committee members, exam invigilators and the police personal to ensure accountability and transparency in the examination process.

He stated that the question papers were collected from Kohima on July 11 and were kept at the treasury office in the presence of the Magistrate and the officials from the treasury. The question papers were unpacked on July 12 in the presence of invigilators and DLSC before the examination process.

He further mentioned that the answer scripts will be sent to Kohima to the department headquarter today.

Assistant Conservator of Forests (ACF) Zunheboto, Tsuamki L Yimchunger, stressed that Zunheboto received 456 question papers in total from the headquarters where 255 were used and 201 were unused. 11 invigilators Teaching staff all from GHSS along with Department staff oversee the exam process along with the DLSC. A total of five rooms were used to conduct the written examination.
