Responding to popular request, the Steering Committee of the 25th Anniversary Edition of NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2025, has decided to extend the timeline for last date of submission of entry forms till September 6.
The Committee has also re-scheduled the match fixtures to September 8.
In this connection, all the concerned teams gearing up to participate in the prestigious NSF Trophy have been informed for necessary preparation and submission.
Organised by Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) and Angami Students’ Union (ASU), this 25th anniversary edition under the theme “Goal for Peace” will take place from September 13 to October 18.
The Trophy is organised in honour and in remembrance of the two comrades Lt. Kekuojalie Sachü of Kohima Village and Lt. Vikhozo Yhoshü of Kigwema Village, who were victims to the indiscriminate firings of the Armed Police from Alichen, when the students’ fraternity, on the 20th of March 1986, were on a peaceful duty call to the extension of Disturbed Area Belt from 5 KM along the Indo Myanmar Border and against the induction of Indian Police Service (IPS) cadres into the state of Nagaland.

The Publicity Committee for the upcoming 25th Anniversary Edition of the NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2025 conducted a field visit to the Chümoukedima Football Stadium.
The visit was carried out to assess preparations, review facilities, and coordinate publicity measures for the landmark edition of the tournament.
The committee expressed appreciation to the organising team and stadium authorities for their cooperation and assured full efforts towards wide coverage and promotion of the prestigious event.
