25th Hornbill Festival 2024

Over 20,000 visitors on December 7

Altogether, 20, 535 visitors were registered on Day 7 (December 7) of the ongoing 25th Hornbill Festival 2024 Naga Heritage Village, Kisama.

With this, total number of visitors to Kisama has gone upto 1, 22, 031 till December 7

Day 7 (December 7) registered 20, 535 of which 173 belonging to foreign tourists, 4267 domestic and 16,095 local tourists from Nagaland, according to the official statistics shared by Toka E. Tuccumi, Joint Director, Department of Tourism, Nagaland.

Day 1 registered highest visitors at 23, 910, Day 2- 17, 588, Day 3- 16,087, Day 4- 14,502, Day 5- 14, 553, Day 6 at 14, 856 and Day 7 at 20, 535.
Meanwhile, alongside other normal programme, Advent Christmas (Devotional Service) will take place on December 8 at Main arena, Kisama  at 10:00 AM. Rev Dr Zelhou Keyho, Advisor NJCF will be the speaker. Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio will be the special guest.

The service will be led by Rev. Dr. Vevo Phesao, Vice President NJCF.

Later, Dr Mansukh L Mandaviya, Union Minister of Labour & Employment and Youth Affairs & Sports, GoI  will be the honoured guest at the morning session of Culture Connect at 11:00 AM and Asit Gopal, additional secretary & financial advisor, Ministry of Textiles, GoI at afternoon session at 1:00 PM.
