The 9th day of the ongoing 25th Hornbill Festival 2024 registered a total of 25, 582 visitors at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama.
With this, the total number of visitors to Kisama till December 9 has gone upto 1, 73, 887.
Day 9 (December 9) registered a total visitors 25, 582, of which 148 were foreign tourists, 7946 domestic and 17, 488 local tourists from Nagaland, according to the official daily visitors update shared by Toka E. Tuccumi, Joint Director, Department of Tourism, Nagaland.
Day 1 registered 23, 910 visitors, Day 2- 17, 588, Day 3- 16,087, Day 4- 14,502, Day 5- 14, 553, Day 6 - 14, 856, Day 7- 20, 535, Day 8- 26, 274 and Day 9 at 25, 582.
Meanwhile, the closing ceremony of the ten day Hornbill Festival has been scheduled at 5PM.
Among others, the closing ceremony will be marked by Unity Dance, Bonfire followed by grand finale of Toyota Hornbill Music Festival, featuring Big Mountain from California, Alobo Naga, Tetseo Sisters, DJ Olly Esse and Nagaland Folkloric Group.
