Chedema Village Youth Organization (CVYO) and Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong (TKS) today secured quarter final berth after winning their respective match at the ongoing 25th Anniversary Edition of the NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2025 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
CVYO blanked vising team Rever Gangtok S.C 4-0 in the first pre-quarter match.
Lenboilun netted twice for CVYO in the 39th and 42nd minute.
Daniel and Zemik added a goal each in the 60th and 84th minute respectively.
Imkongzenza Jamir, Joint Director, Social Welfare Department was the patron of the match.
Robinson of CVYO was declared as “Player of the Match” and felicitated by Sinhilo Thong, former vice president, Naga Students’ Federation.
In 2nd pre-quarter match, TKS defeated Mez & Co 3-1.
Chanso opened the account for TKS in the 27th minute.
Wongshung and Somson connected a goal each for the team in the 83rd and 90+5 minute respectively.
Haokhohen netted a lone goal for Mez & Co in the 64th minute.
Roben Mesen, Regional Transport Officer Kohima acted as the match patron.
P George Vizo, Member Technical committee handed over “Player of the Match” award to Wngshung of TKS.
