Sechü Zubza FC defeated Red Scars FC 2-0 to advance to the semi-finals of the ongoing 25th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2025 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima, on Saturday. In the second quarter-final match, Lalminglu and Thejasetuo Gwirie scored one goal each for Sechü Zubza FC, helping the team overpower their strong rivals.
Anthony Ngullie, Commissioner & Secretary for Youth Resources & Sports, Government of Nagaland, served as the match patron and presented the ‘Player of the Match’ award to Lalminglu Vankal of Sechü Zubza FC.
